Yes, absolutely. You may use a domain name that you have already purchased. Let us know when you make your payment and we will send you the information needed to configure your domain name to forward to our servers.

You can purchase a familiy web site at one of the following rates:

• $8.95 per month for a 2-year subscription
• $9.95 per month for a 1-year subscription
• $12.95 per month with no minimum subscription period

Sites purchased at yearly rates are paid for in advance. Sites may be renewed as your subscription nears expiration. Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at anytime.

Before your paid subscription to your family web site expires, you can renew your web site if you choose to do so. This will be done by making a payment online to renew your web site. If you choose not to renew your family web site, the domain name will expire, but you will be able to order a DVD containing all of the photos, blogs, and data that you have uploaded to your family web site for $20.

No, our family web sites are private and restricted to only those family members that have been approved. For security measures we block all of the web pages from being viewable by search engines or any unapproved viewers. This is a decision that we have made because we put a high priority on security and privacy.

No, you can have an unlimited number of approved users. Whether two, twenty, or two-hundred, there's no limit. Invite your entire family!

Each family web site has one or more Site Administrators that are responsible for approving and managing access to the family web site. The Site Administrators may also grant site administrative rights to other users, so more than one individual can manage the family web site. These users can post site-wide announcements and monitor the storage usage

All of the family web sites are hosted on a monitored dual Intel processor server in Provo, Utah through a high-speed connection. Backups of all family web sites are made every night, and additional backup copies are made on DVD every two weeks and sent to an off-site facility to ensure that your data is kept safe and available in case of emergency.

Yes, customers may at any time download photos, files, and data from their websites on an as-need basis. We do not regularly send backups to customers. However, we do offer a DVD copy of all site data (photos, files, postings, etc.) labeled and shipped for $20 that can be ordered at any time (cost covers needed supplies, shipping, and time).

Our family web sites run on the Apache web server, the most popular web server in the world. The processing is done using PHP (server-side) and JavaScript (client-side). The data is stored in a high-speed MySQL database. The latest security and application patches are always installed and kept up-to-date. Our sites take advantage of some of the latest and well-proven software available.
